Dimitar, one of our expert local guides, says, 'You'll visit Kozichino village, the perfect place to experience the authentic Bulgarian rural way of life. Kozichino is renowned for its efforts to preserve old crafts, customs, and the traditional Bulgarian architecture of the region.'As you rumble through the Bulgarian landscapes, there will be a number of stops. Imagine the excitement as kids turn into treasure hunters in an ancient oak forest, guided by GPS, while adults test their aim with air rifle. The journey takes a scenic turn at 'Tabite,' offering a panoramic view that screams photo op. Come lunchtime, we'll swing by the timeless village of Kozichino for a cultural feast at an ethnographic complex.Here, in a vibrant courtyard, get a slice of village life, explore a museum packed with local treasures, and snap photos in traditional attire. The owner whips up his signature bio lemonade, served alongside a hearty meal of cabbage salad, grilled kebabchetas, and bread, with a beer and lemonade included. But wait, there's more – the 'Safari' orchestra sets the soundtrack to your meal, followed by an off-road adventure to Gyulovtsa, where a rakia tasting awaits.

Bulgarian Heritage Tour with Byala, Boat Trip and Liqueur Tasting

This tour is a great way to get to know the best of Bulgarian culture and heritage. With a visit to ancient Byala, a riverboat trip and an afternoon of folklore and fun with the grannies of Solnik village, you'll experience a lot during your day out. Ivan, one of our expert local guides, says, ‘Solnik is a typical mountain village, but Granny Radka's house is anything but typical – it's like a mini-museum. She has displays of traditional costumes and textiles all over the walls, most of which were made by Granny Radka herself.'Kick off in the seaside town of Byala, on Cape St Atanas. Discover its rich history dating back to the Byzantine era as you walk through the area. You'll see ancient pottery making equipment, a partially restored winery and the basilica. Soaking up the expansive sea view from the top of the cliffs is all part of the Byala experience. Next, we will head to Kamchiya for a 25-minute boat trip along the river to enjoy the beauty of the Bulgarian countryside.Your final stop will be at the quaint village of Solnik, where we'll visit Granny Radka's house. You'll be invited to take a look at the display of typical clothes, try some local rose liqueur and tuck into a tasty lunch of dishes from the region, freshly prepared with locally sourced ingredients. Then you'll be immersed in Bulgarian folklore when you watch a song and dance performance by the village elders dressed in the traditional costume.

Varna Tour from Obzor

Visit Varna for a shopping trip and a panoramic tour of the old town. You'll see all the city's top attractions and visit the multi-domed Dormition of the Mother of God Cathedral as well as enjoy some free time to browse the shops in the Delta Planet Mall. We'll then drive northwards to Varna, with a photo stop at Galata on the Black Sea coast. Then it's on to the Delta Planet Mall, where you have free time to browse a large variety of shops in this modern shopping centre.You'll head then to the old town, and after exploring the Dormition of the Mother of God Cathedral, and a short sightseeing bus tour, you'll enjoy some free time to discover the city for yourself.

Sozopol Guided Tour by Fast Ferry from Obzor

A treasure trove of ancient towns, historic harbours and natural scenery, Bulgaria's Black Sea coast is well worth exploring. For culture, shopping and gastronomy, this trip to Sozopol by fast ferry is just the ticket. Departing from Obzor, you'll transfer to Nessebar from where the ferry whisks you to explore ancient Sozopol. After an hour's cruise on the high-speed passenger catamaran Seacat One you'll be docking in Sozopol. On the ferry there is a bar serving coffee, tea, soft drinks and beer, at your own expense.Arriving in Sozopol, you'll have time for a guided tour and a tasting of regional Bulgarian wines before heading for an optional, traditional lunch at a local restaurant. After lunch, make the most of the free time to explore at your own pace and perhaps browse the shops and markets. Return from Sozopol to Nessebar by fast ferry in the late afternoon, and continue to Obzor by coach.

Action Aquapark from Obzor with Transfer

The three-deck Sea Star Sunny Beach Boat includes entertainment, dining areas and an impressive sun deck.Setting out from Nessebar harbour, along the Black Sea Coast, adults can get busy doing very little on deck, while younger guests can get involved in the swashbuckling entertainment. It's provided by our irrepressible troupe in the roles of Captain Jack and his pirates.Dropping anchor along the coast, there'll be plenty of time for a swim and fun on the waterslide after which you'll be served a delicious lunch on board.
