Det riktiga Bulgarien kallar på denna spännande dag på landsbygden. Hoppa in i en bekväm offroad-fordon för en vild åktur genom de hisnande Balkanbergen, där spänningen i att korsa Aheloy-floden och naturens skönhet kommer till liv. Dimitar, en av våra lokalguider, säger: " Du kommer att besöka byn Kozichino, den perfekta platsen för att uppleva den autentiska bulgariska landsbygdens livsstil. Kozichino är känt för sina ansträngningar att bevara gamla hantverk, seder och den traditionella bulgariska arkitekturen i regionen.

När du kör genom de bulgariska landskapen kommer du att göra ett antal stopp. Föreställ dig spänningen när barnen får bli skattjägare i en gammal ekskog, vägledda av GPS, medan de vuxna testar sitt sikte med luftgevär. Resan tar en naturskön vändning vid "Tabite", som erbjuder en fantastisk panoramautsikt. Vid lunchtid svänger vi förbi den tidlösa byn Kozichino för en kulturell festmåltid i ett etnografiskt komplex.

Här, på en livlig innergård, får du en inblick i bylivet, utforskar ett museum fyllt med lokala skatter och tar foton i traditionella kläder. Ägaren gör sin egen bio-limonad som serveras tillsammans med en rejäl måltid med kålsallad, grillad kebab och hembakat bröd, där en öl och lemonad ingår. Men vänta, det är inte allt - orkestern "Safari" spelar under måltiden, som följs av ett terrängäventyr till Gyulovtsa, där en rakia-provning väntar.

Varna Tour from Obzor

Visit Varna for a shopping trip and a panoramic tour of the old town. You'll see all the city's top attractions and visit the multi-domed Dormition of the Mother of God Cathedral as well as enjoy some free time to browse the shops in the Delta Planet Mall. We'll then drive northwards to Varna, with a photo stop at Galata on the Black Sea coast. Then it's on to the Delta Planet Mall, where you have free time to browse a large variety of shops in this modern shopping centre.You'll head then to the old town, and after exploring the Dormition of the Mother of God Cathedral, and a short sightseeing bus tour, you'll enjoy some free time to discover the city for yourself.

Sozopol Guided Tour by Fast Ferry from Obzor

A treasure trove of ancient towns, historic harbours and natural scenery, Bulgaria's Black Sea coast is well worth exploring. For culture, shopping and gastronomy, this trip to Sozopol by fast ferry is just the ticket. Departing from Obzor, you'll transfer to Nessebar from where the ferry whisks you to explore ancient Sozopol. After an hour's cruise on the high-speed passenger catamaran Seacat One you'll be docking in Sozopol. On the ferry there is a bar serving coffee, tea, soft drinks and beer, at your own expense.Arriving in Sozopol, you'll have time for a guided tour and a tasting of regional Bulgarian wines before heading for an optional, traditional lunch at a local restaurant. After lunch, make the most of the free time to explore at your own pace and perhaps browse the shops and markets. Return from Sozopol to Nessebar by fast ferry in the late afternoon, and continue to Obzor by coach.

Imagine the excitement as kids turn into treasure hunters in an ancient oak forest, guided by GPS, while adults test their aim with air rifle. The journey takes a scenic turn at 'Tabite,' offering a panoramic view that screams photo op. Come lunchtime, we'll swing by the timeless village of Kozichino for a cultural feast at an ethnographic complex.Here, in a vibrant courtyard, get a slice of village life, explore a museum packed with local treasures, and snap photos in traditional attire. Action Aquapark from Obzor with Transfer

Bulgarian Heritage Tour with Byala, Boat Trip and Liqueur Tasting

This tour is a great way to get to know the best of Bulgarian culture and heritage. With a visit to ancient Byala, a riverboat trip and an afternoon of folklore and fun with the grannies of Solnik village, you'll experience a lot during your day out. Ivan, one of our expert local guides, says, ‘Solnik is a typical mountain village, but Granny Radka's house is anything but typical – it's like a mini-museum. She has displays of traditional costumes and textiles all over the walls, most of which were made by Granny Radka herself.'Kick off in the seaside town of Byala, on Cape St Atanas. Discover its rich history dating back to the Byzantine era as you walk through the area. You'll see ancient pottery making equipment, a partially restored winery and the basilica. Soaking up the expansive sea view from the top of the cliffs is all part of the Byala experience. Next, we will head to Kamchiya for a 25-minute boat trip along the river to enjoy the beauty of the Bulgarian countryside.Your final stop will be at the quaint village of Solnik, where we'll visit Granny Radka's house. You'll be invited to take a look at the display of typical clothes, try some local rose liqueur and tuck into a tasty lunch of dishes from the region, freshly prepared with locally sourced ingredients. Then you'll be immersed in Bulgarian folklore when you watch a song and dance performance by the village elders dressed in the traditional costume.
