Sicilianare gillar att vara rakt på sak så när det gällde att namnge den lilla ön Isola Bella som betyder '”den vackra ön” fanns det bara ett alternativ. en här båtturen från Giardini-Naxos ger dig möjlighet att njuta av den fantastiska utsikten över kusten - med Etna i bakgrunden - på väg till Isola Bella.

Den tallskogsklädda och steniga bergsön Isola Bella ligger intill en sandbank och är ett naturreservat som är känt för sitt djurliv både på land och under vattnet. På ön har fåglar som kungsfiskare, pilgrimsfalkar och hägrar slagit sig ner och byggt bon. När du når fram till ön kommer båten att förtöja vid havsgrottorna Grotta Azzurra och Grotta del Giorno för bad och snorkling.

När du har har spanat efter sjöborrar, sjöstjärnor, räkor och andra havslevande djur bland korallerna vänder båten tillbaka och bjuder på vackra utsikter över kusten på väg tillbaka mot hamnen.

    Risteily toi mukavaa vaihtelua kaupungilla pyörimiseen ja oli oman matkani kohokohta. Maisemat oli kohdillaan ja otin kuvia todella paljon. Alle puolet kyytiläisistä meni snorklaamaan joten veneen laiturilla ei ollut ruuhkaa. Varusteiden käytöstä ei peritty lisämaksua ja niitä sai ottaa vapaasti veneen seinustalta lainaan. Tarjoilut olivat lähinnä virvoitusjuomia, keksejä ja pähkinöitä. Uimalasien läpi näki hyvin pohjan, kaloja sekä meduusoja (melko vaarattomia sellaisia).
