Nestled between the Barbagia of Aritzo and Belvì in the heart of Sardinia, an adventurous 4x4 buggy excursion awaits you. This journey offers a novel way to explore the mountains, from the Gennargentu Massif to the Mandrolisai hills, traversed by chestnut forests, holm oaks and cork oaks.
You'll reach trails offering awe-inspiring views and untouched landscapes. Here, a guide will accompany you, enlightening you about the nature and history of this splendid territory. On your return journey aboard the buggy, you'll traverse the opposite side, taking in the striking panorama of the Piana di Gesturi. The buggy ride to reach the plateau takes roughly half an hour, following mule tracks through unspoiled scenic paths.
Once you reach the plateau at an elevation of 1400 meters, you'll continue on foot along a trail for about half an hour, leading to a spot where you can appreciate the view of mouflons, wild horses and eagles. Afterwards, you'll resume your journey aboard the buggy. The experience also includes a brief trekking route.
