Picture-postcard Santorini is just around the corner on this half-day tour around the island. You'll find villages – big and small – beautiful scenery everywhere you look as well as history at Akrotiri excavation site and local flavours at a clifftop taverna.

This exclusive small-group tour gives you an in-depth introduction to the real Santorini. First stop will be the highest point on the island, Profitis Ilias, where you'll be able to survey the unfolding views and take in the majestic beauty of the island. Next, we'll visit the picturesque villages of Megalochori and Emporeio where you'll wander down historic narrow cobbled streets.

After that it's on to Akrotiri, where you'll be able to visit the excavation site or simply relax on the beach before visiting the jewel in the crown, Pharos lighthouse, whose views over the caldera are breathtaking. Having soaked up culture and scenery, it's time to soak up some local flavours with a traditional meze lunch with wine at a clifftop restaurant complete with views.

Our tour guide Kim was amazing!!! Very knowledgeable of all the areas we were taken to. Loved the old parts of the tour but in all it was a fantastic memorable trip

Packed alot in this tour to see in 4.5hours ending with a small lunch with wine at a local restaurant which was lovely. Size of the party was ideal. I think it was about 18. Guide was very friendly and informative (Maggie). Would have liked an extra 30 minute coffee stop/ extra sightseeing in Meglachori. So start the tour 30 minutes earlier at 8.40am

Absoluut top. Mooie, kleinere bus. Gids Maggy gaf prima gedoseerde, boeiende uitleg en betrok iedereen. Veel geleerd over Santorini. Zij was absoluut de kers op de taart.

Spannende Orte und interessante Erläuterungen. Was mir nicht gefallen hat war der Lunch. Die Auswahl ist sicher Geschmacksache. Die Portionen waren winzig und für jeden ein kleines Glas Wasser und ein Glas Wein war jetzt auch nicht sehr üppig, zumal ich keinen Wein mittags trinke.
