De plek om te eren kangs de kant van de weg voor een grsloten bezoekerscentrum ( niet eens op het parkeerterrein) Daarnaast ook weer langs de kant van de openbare weg sterren kijken, we kregen net voor het uitstappen te horen dat er geen fotos gemaakt mochten worden ivm het licht terwijl er constant autos met koplampen langs reden, Tip ik zou van die uiteindelijk 1,5 uur sterren kijken was nog 1/2 uur nodig voor op /afbouw van de 8 uur onderweg iig ook de gelegenheid geven fotos te maken

De gids vertelde veel in het Spaans, liet, naar onze mening, bij de Engelse en Duitse uitleg zaken weg. Of we waren er al langs gereden zodat de toelichting pas achteraf was. Beloofde sterrenhemel zoals op foto behorende bij reis werd ook niet geboden. Ja, je zag veel sterren, maar niet de vele kleuren zoals op het plaatje.

Het was te gek, zoiets mag je niet missen. Stefanie had ons super goed alles uitgelegd. Echt een aanrader, als je er toch hier bent echt doen.

Gids verdeelde de tijd om te vertalen in veel te lang durende tijdvakken, waardoor de aandacht van de anderstaligen wegging en men dan onder elkaar begon te spreken wat dan weer moeilijk was voor zij die wouden luisteren. Locatie om recht te staan om de sterren observatie te doen was echt veel te oneffen waardoor het echt moeilijk werd om te stappen (het was dan ook nog donker natuurlijk) Fantastisch met de telescopen en de professionele uitleg. It's so enchanting that Rudi, one of our guides, decided to make it his home 40 years ago. ‘I love doing this tour,' he says. ‘It shows you the island's past and present – from one of the world's biggest observatories to Tajogaite, Europe's newest volcano.' Plus, you'll discover wonders such as Roque de los Muchachos and the primeval Caldera de Taburiente.Your adventure kicks off as you venture up the 2,500m-high Roque de los Muchachos – La Palma's highest peak – passing the domed astronomical observatory on the way. At the top, take in the views over the 8km-wide Caldera de Taburiente, the island's only national park. Ringed by cloud-bursting peaks, this immense bowl is thick with pine forests and waterfalls. Your guide will fill you in on the park's history and how your visit will help conserve its ecosystems.Next, it's on to Puntagorda – arguably one of the prettiest villages in the Canaries. Nestled between two ravines, rows of pine and almond trees flank cobbled streets that enjoy sweeping views of the Atlantic Ocean. Here, you'll have some time to have a poke around the weekly farmer's market, with stalls dedicated to local produce and handicrafts. At El Time viewpoint, there are heart-pounding views over the Angustias gorge. We'll also make our way to Tajuya viewpoint, from where you can observe the scarred, inferno-like slopes of the Tajogaite volcanic cone, formed from an eruption in autumn 2021.
