St Mark's Square in Venice is one of the most important Italian squares, highly-admired by tourists from all over the world for its beauty and architecture.
With its trapezoidal shape and length of 170 meters, it represents the heart of the lagoon city and hosts some of the most important monuments of the city such as St. Mark's Basilica, St. Mark's Bell tower, the Columns of St. Mark and St. Theodore, the Doge's Palace, and St. Mark's Clock tower (the only Renaissance building in St. Mark's Square).
