What to expect

If you're after a fun-packed family day out, then Marineland is for you. It's Majorca's only aqua and animal park – and it's packed with attractions. We're talking edge-of-your-seat dolphin and sea lion shows, alongside exotic bird shows thrice daily.

Kids and grown-ups alike will love seeing beautiful bottlenose dolphins show off their swimming skills and watching the sea lions clown around in the water. Then there are the colourful displays featuring brightly plumed parrots and macaws.

And when there's a gap between shows, you can peer through the glass of the aquariums, visit a café or access the beach. Add an aviary and a tropical house full of snakes and lizards and there's something for everyone. Upgrade to a gold ticket for extra perks like fast-track entrance and a 10% discount on any purchases inside the park.

The Tui transfer bus to and from the park was really good. The sealion and dolphin shows were amazing and worth the price just on their own.

I’ve been on many excursions over the years and this has got to be thee worst. £28 each for myself and my daughter we were expecting a good day out. The bus left at 10:40 and it took around 30 minutes to get to the park when we arrived it was obvious there wasn’t much to see. It took us all of 10 minutes to walk around we watched the sea lion and dolphin show then there was nothing else to watch. At 1pm we got a taxi back instead of the bus as it wasn’t into 4:15pm and I wasn’t wait 3 hours.

We were very disappointed to have to walk 10 minutes down the road to another hotel to be picked up which has never been the case on any of our other TUI holidays, all other guests seemed to get dropped at their hotels on the way back except us. We were also extremely disappointed that there were multiple excursions on our coach meaning we had to go out of our way to pick these trips up before we could actually head back to our pick up point. We won’t be booking trips through TUI again.

Very small park, walked round twice in about an hour, then had to wait all day to get the transfer. Transfer also took twice as long as was originally mentioned. We ended up leaving the park and walking around the area. Couple of animal shows which were about average. Not value for money.

Marineland was tiny and definitely didnt need a full day. The speakers were too loud for my ASD son which ruined the whole experience for him

Nat Geo Day Tour : La vallée des Oranges
