Beskrivning

Trogir och Split ligger mitt emot varandra i Kastela-viken och erbjuder två kontrastrika visioner av det förflutna. Split är en livlig stad byggd runt en romersk kejsares palats medan Trogir är en medeltida stad byggd på en liten ö – och båda är utnämnda till världsarv av Unesco.

Första besöket är Split, dalmatiska kustens livliga nav. Showens stjärna är den romerska kejsaren Diocletianus palats från 200-talet. Idag spelar det även rollen som Splits gamla stad och har använts för inspelningen av Game of Thrones. Du besöker två marknader och får även tid för att få i dig något att äta på Mlinice Pantana innan vi beger oss till Trogir.

Med sitt överflöd av medeltida palats och kyrkor, plus den romansk-gotiska katedralen, är Trogirs trånga stenlagda gränder fyllda av historia. Ä

Plus, the water is so see-through-clear here that it's easy to spot fish in the waters of the Krka River. Simply strolling through the park's walkways gives you a whole new appreciate for the power and artistry of Mother Nature.
