Akrotiri Archeological Site, Thera, Greece

Your self-guided audio tour starts at the entrance of the archaeological site of Akrotiri, located south of the modern village that bears the same name. The easiest way to get there is by car or bus. Once at the car park at Akrotiri Red Beach, follow the road that takes you to the archaeological site. The tour ends at Xeste 3, a large building inside the archaeological site. From there, follow the signs to the exit.

The audio guide is compatible with Android (version 5.0 and later) or iOS smartphones
The guide is not compatible with Windows Phones, iPhone 5/5C or older, iPod Touch 5th generation or older, iPad 4th generation or older, iPad Mini 1st generation
You will need (100-150 MB) storage space
After booking, you´ll get an email with your official e-ticket and further instructions on how to access and download your audio tour. Please remember to check your spam folder
Please note that the local tour operator only accepts the official e-ticket which will be emailed to you by the local tour operator

Free and reduced admission tickets can only be acquired at the ticket booth on-site and on presentation of a valid ID
Unfortunately, this tour is only available with full price entrance tickets
Those eligible for free or reduced entry include EU citizens under the age of 25, children under 5 from non-EU countries, EU citizens over 25 years of age and enrolled in secondary education, and EU citizens over 65
Please note that the course of the visit may be modified and special restrictions may be imposed. Visitors must follow site guidelines
Please ensure that your smartphone is fully charged and bring your headphones on the day
Wearing comfortable shoes is recommended
