Patmos har det lilla extra som krävs för att sticka ut bland alla tusentals öar i Grekland. Upptäck charmen hos den vykortsvackra lilla ön söder om Samos på denna heldagsutflykt. När du går iland från båten har du hela dagen till ditt förfogande – leta upp en trevlig strand eller utforska ön till fots.

Dagen börjar med en två och en halv timmes båtresa över Egeiska havet till den pittoreska och livliga staden Skala på Patmos östkust. Hamnpromenaden kantas av charmiga tavernor, uteserveringar, fiskrestauranger och småbutiker i de varsamt renoverade gamla husen. Patmos är väldigt smalt just här och tio minuters promenad västerut ligger Hohlakasstranden.

Om du vill ha lite historia är en vandring till berget Hora bara 3 km från Skala ett måste. Dess labyrint av otroligt smala gränder med vitkalkade hus kröns av det befästa klostret St. John. Varannan byggnad tycks faktiskt vara en kyrka eller ett kloster – och i en grotta utanför byn sägs uppenbarelseboken ha skrivits.

On this cruise, you'll explore the local waters off Samos' east coast, with stops at two of its most enticing beaches – Posidonio and Megali Lakka – as well as a beach barbecue.Sailing from Pythagorio in the morning, you'll glide through the Mycale Strait, which separates Samos from Turkey. Pass by remote beaches and uninhabited islets – and with luck spot some dolphins. Your captain will drop anchor off Posidonio beach, and you can either swim onshore or hop on a dinghy. After an hour, we'll sail for the pine-fringed cove of Megali Lakka, which is accessible by our boat only.Here, you'll be able to relax or swim while the crew rustles up a barbecue on the beach, washed down with juice. After about three hours, it's time to sail back to Pythagorio.
