Den berömda staden Lindos, som är bäst känd för sina vitkalkade byggnader, gyllene sandstränder, historiska och arkeologiska betydelser, och särskilt för sin akropolis på en klippa, misslyckas aldrig med att imponera och inspirera alla dem som väljer att besöka den.
En stor höjdpunkt i staden, Akropolis i Lindos, anses vara en av de viktigaste arkeologiska platserna på Rhodos. Ruinerna av denna akropolis, som grävdes ut i början av 1900-talet, ligger på en brant klippa med utsikt över Medelhavet.
Lindos ligger på den grekiska ön Rhodos och sägs ha anor från 1000-talet. Denna turiststad lockar resenärer med charmiga stränder som den populära Lindos-stranden, den lugnare Pallas-stranden och den pittoreska St. Paulsbukten.
Dessutom, eftersom många av byggnaderna i Lindos har platta tak, är takrestauranger ganska vanliga och kan avnjutas året runt tack vare regionens medelhavsklimat.

“Lindos & Rhodes Old Town were very nice but the multiple pick ups and drop offs made the journey times too long which spoilt the overall experience.”
“The tour was enjoyable, however we were told there would be a couple of hours free time but this was not the case. Picked up at 7am but didn't arrive until 9am due to hotel pick ups. We had a quick walk and talk through Lindos and then straight to the Acropolis. The guide was very informative but we did stop for a while where the guide talked about history. We decided to walk on and look ourselves, glad we did as this gave us more free time in Lindos.”
“We didn't listen to the guide, ear pieces were awkward, especially for our two teens so we split off from the group and walked around by ourselves. Guide turned up late; seemed quite disinterested, flustered and repetitive. Coach journey was fine but we think it would have been cheaper for us to just get a taxi ourselves so value for money was poor. Liked the free drink from the shop and the acropolis is beautiful.”
