Explore France's heritage with this 3-day excursion from Paris to Normandy's landing beaches, Mont Saint Michel and the Loire Valley.
On the first day, you'll stop in Rouen for a walking tour of the historic district featuring the Notre-Dame Cathedral and the Gros-Horloge, before heading to Honfleur and enjoying the picturesque streets and colorful houses of this harbor town. After lunch, you'll visit the Normandy beaches, including Arromanches, and the American Cemetery. Your day will end at the Caen Novotel (or a similar one) where you'll spend your first night.
The second day will instead be dedicated to Saint-Malo. Admire the city walls, the castle, the cathedral and the Fort National. You'll then have time for lunch in a restaurant of your choice, after which you'll drive to Mont Saint-Michel and reach the Benedectine abbey on the top of the village for a guided tour. You'll leave for Angers around 4.30 pm and spend your second night there.
On the third and last day of the excursion, you'll eventually set off for the Loire Valley. Your guide will take you through the interior of the medieval Château de Langeais, before having lunch in Amboise and then moving to the Château de Chenonceau, a Renaissance castle that has played a major role in France. You'll leave from Chenonceaux at 5.15 pm to arrive in Paris around 8.00 pm.
