The Bamboo Island, with its shape which almost looks like a heart, is a well-known tourist destination, surrounded by a strip of white sand, also famous for its shallow coral reef. It gets its name from the lush vegetation of bamboos.
Despite its being famous, the island can offer its visitors much more quiet and privacy than the other beaches in Krabi and allow them to escape from the crowd for a full day. Once you’ll have reached the Bamboo Island, you’ll be able to enjoy some swimming and snorkelling in its clear blue, crystal-like, waters. If they’ll be calm, you’ll even be able to enjoy a walk in the waters going fairly, and safely, far-out. Don’t forget to spend some time relaxing and sunbathing on the island’s white sandy beaches.
You’ll also be offered a lunch at a self-service style restaurant.
