Att göra – Chichén Itzá
Chichén Itzá är ett viktigt arkeologiskt komplex i Maya som finns i Mexiko, i norra delen av Yucatanhalvön. Ruinerna, som täcker ett område på 3 kvadratkilometer, tillhörde en stor stad som var en av de viktigaste centren i regionen runt den epiklassiska perioden av Maya-civilisationen, mellan sjätte och elfte århundradet. Platsen innehåller flera byggnader som representerar olika arkitektoniska stilar. såsom Pyramiden av Kukulcán, krigartemplet, bollfältet, observatoriet, nunneklostret och andra vackta bevarade mindre tempel i deras närhet.
Platsen för Chichén Itzá förklarades som UNESCO:s världsarvslista 1988 och har röstats ut som ett av världens 7 moderna underverk 2007.

“2 hour into the journey, we were still within only a few kilometres of where we were picked up, picking up other people at local hotels. We had no communication with the tour guides in this time, they didn't introduce themselves, tell us about the itinerary for the day or even if there were toilets on the bus. Then the tour guide got off the bus at McDonald's, everyone was waiting in the bus for 10 minutes and she came out with a coffee. Trip advertised as 12 hours, lasted 15 hours, very tiring”

Vraiment dommag.La guide Wendy lors du conte rapide de Chichén Itza n'a malheureusement pas été d'un bon encadrement. Elle nous a mis en garde contre les vendeurs mais nous a envoyé exclusivement vers Doña Rosita qui vendait un éventail et une petite pierre, 100 usd.”
