“2 hour into the journey, we were still within only a few kilometres of where we were picked up, picking up other people at local hotels. We had no communication with the tour guides in this time, they didn't introduce themselves, tell us about the itinerary for the day or even if there were toilets on the bus. Then the tour guide got off the bus at McDonald's, everyone was waiting in the bus for 10 minutes and she came out with a coffee. Trip advertised as 12 hours, lasted 15 hours, very tiring”

Elle nous a mis en garde contre les vendeurs mais nous a envoyé exclusivement vers Doña Rosita qui vendait un éventail et une petite pierre, 100 usd.”

“Beto was one of the most knowledgeable tour guides I've ever had, having been a tour guide in the past myself. His genuine interest in Mayan culture and hilarious sense of humor made this tour a memorable one. His enthusiasm and passion for the subject matter was plain to see.”

“TUi had no involvement, it was let to Amigo Tours. The guide & driver were excellent. Payment of Chichen Itza Tax was an issue. Expected to pay a third party in Mexico by unsecured & open wi fi connection via hotel the day before, and produce receipts. The transport provided was inadequate - a crew bus type vehicle holding 13 with no toilet to travel 600km on Mexican roads. We were obviously the overspill. AMigo tours had a 50 seater coach with a toilet the same day. Tui obviously overbooked.”
