Med så många platser att se är den här turen till Sozopol med snabbfärja precis vad du behöver. Färjan avgår från Nessbar och tar dig iväg för att utforska det gamla Sozopol. Och till råga på allt ingår lunch.

Det blir en tidig start när vi åker buss till hamnen i Nessebar för att gå ombord på färjan. Efter en timmes båttur på höghastighetskatamaranen Seacat One lägger vi till i Sozopol. På färjan finns en bar som serverar kaffe, te, läskedrycker och öl, på egen bekostnad.

När du anländer till Sozopol har du tid för en guidad rundtur och en provsmakning av regionala bulgariska viner, innan du går till en lokal restaurang ifall du valt alternativet med lunch. Expected a Tui sign in coach, but guide reassured us we were on the right trip. Pleasant journey and guide helpful and very knowledgeable. A good experience and well worth it. A bit rough on the crossing back with the wind getting up.

Coach arrived roughly on time and then we headed to the fast ferry, which set off once we boarded. Sea was rough, many were ill, but views were lovely. Guides were knowledgeable and patient for the walking tour through a lovely area, followed by lunch. Enough free time to see sights. Storm so coach.

Given the wrong pick up place when booked online. Only got there by chance with another group. Our guide was told a different pick up point to us. Guide was a lovely knowledgeable man but Wine tasting element was poor. Lucky if you got 1cm each of the 4 wines to taste. Also had to remind guide that bit was included. Not enough seats on Ferry for all to sit down either.

Rough crossing return boat trip cancelled squeezed onto a minibus on return no air-conditioning and driver spent most of the journey making phone calls one handed no hands free kit

There's evidence here that reflects the architectural progress of the whole Balkan and East Mediterranean regions.Winding streets and alleys fringed with characterful timber homes lead you to more than 40 churches dating back as far as Byzantine times.
