Your guide will take you to the best spots to sample culinary treats such as koulouri, baklava, and souvlaki - and that´s just to start. You´ll also duck into a carefully selected specialty food store where you’ll be able to taste different oils, spreads and other surprises before heading into the bustling Varvakios Market with its local produce and buzzing atmosphere. Explore the city’s spice street and drop into a shop with an incredible variety of local condiments and herbs. Next, head to a local pastry shop for a serious sugar rush with a bougatsa (a traditional cream-filled phyllo treat). The last stop on the tour is for a selection of scrumptious Greek meze, with appetizers, a variety of cheese, and cured meats.
