Beskrivning

Ko Lanta-distriktet är en skatt som ännu inte har upptäckts till fullo. Två öar som är förbundna med en bro, mangroveskogar, sandstränder och en unik kultur är bara några av höjdpunkterna på denna resa. Du kommer att utforska öarna i en longtailbåt, besöka Lantas gamla stad och se en autentisk havsnomadby.

Äventyret inleds med en båttur till ön Natammu, där du besöker ett trädgårdscenter och får chansen att smaka på några lokala snacks och nybryggt örtte. Härifrån går färden vidare till en gummiplantage. Se hur det klibbiga materialet tillverkas samtidigt som du får höra om gummits historia av några av dem som vet det bäst.

På eftermiddagen hoppar du ombord på båten igen och seglar runt i Tung Yee Pengs mangroveskogar. Du får se den märkliga skönheten hos träd som växer till hälften under vattnet och till hälften ovanför innan du äter lunch på en närliggande restaurang.

Eftermiddagen ägnas åt att lära känna det lokala livet. Först gör vi ett stopp vid en närliggande fiskeby, följt av en tur till Lantas gamla stad och tempel. Du vandrar runt på gator med historiska träbyggnader - se till att se husen på styltor - och går till stadens röd- och guldfärgade tempel.

Mycket trevlig guide, anpassade guidturen efter oss - ingen stress, var informativ och berättade historiska händelse samt nutids information. Vi åkte runt i en bra van med lämplig AC. Förvånande men inte negativt (förväntade oss att åka i longtail båt).Kul med frukost besöket. Lunchen var perfekt. Bra med vatten och kalla servetter som erbjöds. Önskar att informationen på er hemsida varit mer detaljerad så vi vetat om lättfrukosten t ex och att longtail båten endast utgjorde ett av alla stopp.

Retken sisällön kuvaus oli harhaanjohtava, sillä pitkähäntäveneellä mentiin ainoastaan mangrovemetsässä, autokyydistä ei puhuttu kuvauksessa mitään. Odotuksena retkelle lähtiessä oli, että liikumme koko päivän veneellä. Romanikylän kierros oli turha, sen aikana ei nähnyt mitään erityistä. Samoin kuin vierailu temppelissä.
